My family of 4 absolutely loves roller coasters and Hersheypark was a total hit. We didn’t have Fast Track Passes so we had to be smart about getting to the more popular roller coasters quickly. Some reviews we read online said to get to Laff Trakk quickly, my recommendation is to get to Skyrush, sooperdooperlooper, Comet, and then Great Bear first thing in the morning – then make your way to the back of the park. The surprise hit of the day was definitely the Lightning Racer coaster – half of the family rode on one side and the other half on the other, it was awesome. My only other tip that I will give is on dining, Hersheypark Place is outside the gates, but is a sit down restaurant with air conditioning. It was a welcome break from running roller coaster to roller coaster. Price wise it really wasn’t that much more expensive than the fried food places and the meal was WAAAAY better. I did also learn that if you stay on property you get into the park an hour early and avoid the line, so that may be worthwhile.
